Carlos + Darien // 11.2.19

Carlos and Darien…what can I say except for maybe that they’re like white on rice, two peas in a pod, chocolate and peanut butter…okay, I’ll stop now lol. Honestly though, the moment I started photographing their wedding at 10:00 AM at Napoleon House in the French Quarter, their LIT reception and the Second Line of all Second Lines that shut down most of Decatur Street, I could tell these two were deeply and passionately in love.

Carlos started off the wedding with tears, and Darien, cool as a cucumber held out until her vows. Their ceremony was beautiful, oh so intimate, and they were surrounded by their closest family and friends that came from near and far. Their reception though - like OMG! There was so much love, laughter, good food and GREAT MUSIC! Side note, anytime I hear Backstreet Boys and Juvenile within minutes of each other, you will find me on the dance floor lol! All in all, it was a pretty dope wedding and I was honored that they chose me to capture the beginning to their Happily Ever After :)
